Is Disney Cruising in Alaska this year???

Anne Spears

Yesterday, the cruise industry received some very good news when President Biden signed into law, the Alaska Tourism Restoration Act. This will allow temporary access to foreign flagged ships (most cruise ships are flagged in other countries like the Bahamas) to sail into Alaskan waterways. This way, cruises to/from Alaska will no longer be required to visit or depart from a port in Canada.

Another positive sign is that earlier this month, Cruise Line Agencies of Alaska published their 2021 cruise ship schedule and the Disney Wonder is listed as departing from Seattle Mondays, starting July 12 through September 13th! While this might look like a done deal-Disney has not made a formal announcement, nor have they replaced their Alaska 2021 itineraries on their website. However, we can still hope and this is definitely a positive step in the right direction. Stay tuned for more information as we watch how this all unfolds. Who else is ready to cruise??
